Client Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Building relationships with assigned accounts, facilitating the business’s relationship with the customer 
  • Getting new business from existing clients 
  • Briefing the Technical Services team to design and create software solutions to suit the client brief 
  • Regularly attending client meetings/briefings to collaborate on client requirements, ensuring services are functioning well and advising them of opportunities for additional services and product solutions 
  • Providing ongoing technical support, improvement and troubleshooting for client systems when needed Identifying potential areas of concern for customers before they arise 
  • Making recommendations based on recognising the customer’s current and future technology needs during their continued business relationship Producing clear quotes for proposed solutions, with project scope and clear benefits to customers 
  • Planning the implementation with own testing and client testing 
  • Communicating with the client for technical solutions and liaising on technical support issues 
  • Leading and attending meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development and client satisfaction 
  • Liaising with Technical Services to provide technical support, improvement and troubleshooting for other customer solutions, including those not built by Decent Group 
  • Regular full account reporting project, including margin reports and invoicing Where appropriate, mentoring and training junior client managers 
  • Working flexibly according to customer and business needs

Knowledge / Experience Required:

  • Ideally degree level competence in Computer Sciences 
  • Ideally FileMaker certification 
  • Considerable knowledge and experience of full technical solution life-cycle and technical solution management methodologies 
  • Logical thinker with commercial awareness 
  • Excellent inter-personal communication skills with the ability to quickly build strong relationships 
  •  Able to work openly and co-operatively with others 
  • Self-motivation and ability to organise own time effectively 
  • Good presentational skills; able to present complex ideas at the appropriate level 
  • Must have full, current driving license and flexibility to travel to client sites
